I found this notebook in the desk i was using in Biochemistry, funny thing is it was the first day of classes and it was first period. So i have decided to type parts of this notebook. It has no name but it jumps about in ideas, plans and other miscellaneous stuff.
From what gained from quickly flipping through it, it is probably a man but the writing varies quite a bit from some looking rushed and like chicken scratch and other looking rather elegant and feminine handwriting. Halibut and Shrimp with Garlic Cream

Ingredients:
· 2 six-ounce halibut filets
· 1 tablespoon garlic, crushed
· 6 ounces heavy cream
· 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
· 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
· 1 tablespoon Japanese bread crumbs
· salt and pepper to taste
· 2 tablespoons Jack cheese, shredded
· ¼ cup spinach, sliced
· 1 tablespoon butter
Method:

In a heavy, oven-proof sauté pan that has a cover, add butter and garlic and cook for one minute over medium heat. Add halibut and cook for one minute per side. Add cream and spinach and cook for an additional minute. Add cheese. Top with Parmesan and bread crumbs and place in a pre-heated 375 degree oven. Cook covered for 4 minutes, then uncover and cook for an additional 4 to 5 minutes until Parmesan is golden brown. Remove from oven, top with parsley and serve.

8 RANT about mind

You've got in the mindset, you practiced your lines, routines and back ups. But either before you can approach or as soon as you approach , you freeze up. all your preparation is a flash in the pan, standing there like a deer in the headlights.

What Happened?

YOU CHOKED. We have all had this happen to some degree. Answer lies in the brain, when we have practiced something so much that we no longer need to think about it, subconscious processing systems are at work. We then slow down to focus automated actions, tripping yourself up.

Don't concentrate that part of problem. Well meaning experts advise people to take their time, thinking that will inhibit stress, but better to just get on with it. High performance expectations make us feel vulnerable to choking.

Example sports
Novices in a sport, when speed is emphasized, quality of there game decreased. Pro's the opposite, execute quickly the better.

Idea is too much self monitoring hinders performance. But daydreaming might leave you without enough focus to Approach or follow up conversation. try to rehearse in time situation and leisure walk thought on ideas for a pick up.

PU, who think about a concrete, detailed set of rules during their moment, more likely to snap under pressure or come up with nothing than are those who do not have a specific set of rules in mind.
